On this page, you’ll find some of my landscape, nature, macro and wildlife photography. These are my personal projects, my therapy. Most of these images are available for you to purchase as a range of printed art products. I also occasionally offer cards and calendars. Prices vary depending on print size, product type and other options. Contact me to talk about what landscape or nature art you might like and get a quote.

After moving to the absolutely gorgeous Tasmania, landscapes became my first love! They are a big part of the reason that I’m a photographer. I very quickly realised that my little old point and shoot camera just wasn’t going to cut it any more. Not long after, I was given my first DSLR as a gift. I learned so much, reading books, searching the internet and playing around. I captured my first few serious landscapes with it. Although I have upgraded a couple of times since then, this little old camera is still going strong, more than 8 years later!! I still bring it out every now and then - its cropped sensor combined with a long telephoto lens makes for some seriously super zoom.

From there, I started learning more about other nature and wildlife photography as well. I love each style or genre for different reasons. Landscapes give me a sense of peace and serenity that comes from having nowhere to be. Macro photography gives me a good challenge, most probably because I use a reversed lens, which comes with its own set of issues, limitations and technical knowledge. Wildlife photography gives me a huge sense of satisfaction after sitting and waiting for that perfect image.
